What is OWWA membership and why is it needed?
OWWA (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) membership provides overseas Filipino workers with access to government support and protection while working abroad. Active members are eligible for welfare assistance, emergency support, insurance coverage, skills training, and services for both workers and their families in case of illness, job loss, or repatriation. Keeping your OWWA membership active ensures that help is available when you need it.
Who can apply for OWWA membership in Prague?
OWWA membership processed through the MWO–OWWA Prague Office is open to all overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) currently working or residing in the Czech Republic, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine.

Step 1: Complete the online form
Before visiting the MWO-OWWA Prague Office, please complete the OWWA OFW information sheet online:

Step 2: Prepare the required documents
Bring all of the following with you at the office:

One (1) photocopy of the bio-data page

Step 3: OWWA membership fee​

Proceed to the office with your completed form, documents and payment.
The staff will review your requirements and process your OWWA membership application for renewal.

Through Mobile App - If you cannot visit the office in person
If you are unable to physically visit the MWO–OWWA Prague Office, you may apply for or renew your OWWA membership using your mobile phone.
Simple steps to apply using your mobile device:
1. Download the OWWA Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create an account or log in using your email address.
3. Select OWWA Membership Application or Renewal.
4. Complete the required information and upload the requested documents.
5. Follow the payment instructions provided in the app.
This option allows you to complete your OWWA transaction anytime, anywhere, without visiting the office.
